I talked to my friend the other day. Her name is Shirley. Shirley is a retired nurse, whose husband died a few years ago. He lives for themselves within three bedroom brick ranch home a few miles away from me. We met about five years ago, when I did some volunteer work at a local hospital, where Shirley worked.
Every now and then we have Shirley to the village. She loves to bake and she always brings something that she baked in the desert again. I must admit that he is a good cook.
When Shirley came to the village the other day, we were sitting around the dinner table and he brought up something that he knew I could help her out. He explained that at night when he is at home and have to go out, that it was hard for her to see him in his house.
You see, Shirley wants to water his lawn and garden at night. He went on to say that watering after sunset is better than his lawn and garden, the water does not evaporate from the surface as soon as it is in sunlight. This will give him a better lawn and garden to drink water, as he put it.
What led up to Shirley was a kind of advice for Outdoor wall lighting on the outside of her home at night. He wanted to look better and not worry about stepping on his watering flowers.
The first thought that came to me belonged Outdoor wall lighting. So I asked Shirley if she was outside wall lighting his house now. He said he has no outside wall lights, but over the years they just stopped working.
So I asked him about these non-functional outside wall lights were located. He said, one on each side of his garage door. A wall light outdoor wall along the side of her front door and two outdoor wall lights wall his home.
He said his main concern was on both sides of the house, and not so much in front and behind the walls of their home, but that he could replace the old, worn outside wall lights, which are already in place and working.
After dinner, my husband and Shirley to our living room to watch TV. I went to do some research on the Outdoor wall lighting.
My next thought was what style outside wall lights would go with her light brown brick home. I went to work. Shirley was a white vinyl windows around her home, so I was determined to find a style to go with the flow, as they say.
The first looked at the outside wall lights were to replace lamps that were already in her home. For the garage, on both sides of the door, I found Alexandria White Energy Star Outdoor Wall Light. This wall lamp has a white surface, curved beveled glass, cast aluminum structure and motion sensor. These lights turn on automatically when you pull into the driveway with the car. Also, the lights automatically turn on when you walk in the front of your driveway.
